R & E: From 1980 - 1990 there were at least 12 records involving at least sixteen individuals from the Mississippi River at St. Louis (Ron Goetz). Fourteen of the birds were observed in August and September, with the other two in November. Some of
these records may pertain to the Illinois side of the river. (Only two of these records mentioned in R & E, both included above).
